Fond friend of many cinema journalists and film industry personalities R Manohar of www.chitratara.com  for this year happy birthday celebrated by friends on midnight 12 on 14th August 2014, it was quite different.

One of the August 15 birthday boys (We have our country celebrating freedom birthday, Dr Bharathi Vishnuvardhana, Raghavendra Rajakumar, Nagathihalli Chandrasekhar and a few others) of cinema journalism R Manohar had a waiting and compelling stranger at Christ University when he visited the spot to cover 50 years celebration of Dr Bharathi Vishnuvardhana.

‘Sir I am waiting for you, can I take a picture with you said the youngster at the 10th floor Christ University auditorium’. R Manohar immediately asked why. I am a fan of your www.chitratara.com he replied and obviously Manohar obliged.

Later in the night on14th of August one of the good friends of R Manohar – Madhu arranged for a party at Nandini Layout. Journalist friends of R Manohar – KS Vasu, Yethiraj, Jagadish, Keshavamurthy, Davanagere Murthy, Chandrasekhar plus Madhu and his brother, Lakshman associate choreographer to Harsha and others participated in the cocktail party hosted for R Manohar birthday.

At the dot of 12 the heart shape chocolate cake was cut by R Manohar for his birthday.
